Products from Russia Some Russian restraints are rather crude and square-edged compared to similar products from other countries. It seems that like in China the comfort of prisoners does not really matter in Russia. So some models should be more seen as a collector's item than as a restraint meant for use in Western countries.

These black Russian cuffs can be securely double locked by small push buttons which are activated by use of the key-pin. To unlock the double lock, the key has to be turned against opening direction. The cuffs are connected by relatively long chain links - each link is 3.2 cm long. ID: RBOSB
As far as we know these are the only hinged Russian handcuffs (black), that are currently on the market. They can be securely double locked by small push buttons which are activated by use of the key-pin. To unlock the double lock, the key has to be turned against opening direction. ID: BRS1S
These nickel plated handcuffs are of comparatively better quality. They have a left and a right cuff and can be securely double locked via small push buttons, which are activated by the key-pin. To unlock the double lock the key has to be simply turned in opening direction and not against opening direction, like at many other models from different countries. ID: BRS1B
These handcuffs are the same as the model shown above, except for the surface. The finish is blued (black oxide) instead of nickel plated. Such dark restraints are preferred by special police forces (SWAT-teams) and military units. ID: BRS2S
This model was doubtlessly modeled on Ralkem 9921, which we also offer in our "Czech rubric". Shape and function are very similar, but the cuffs are connected by two instead of only one chain-link. These nickel-plated handcuffs can be securely double locked. ID: BRS2B
These handcuffs are the same as the model shown above, except for the surface. The finish is blued (black oxide) instead of nickel plated. Such dark restraints are preferred by special police forces (SWAT-teams) and military units.
These heavy and big (11 cm), nickel-plated thumbcuffs are the equivalent to the Russian BRS-1 handcuffs shown above. But the keys are not interchangeable, because of their different bit length. The restraint can be securely double locked via a small push button, which is activated by the key-pin. To unlock the double lock the key has to be simply turned clockwise - first the double lock will be unlocked and then the bows will open. Unfortunately this item is out of stock at the moment.
These nickel plated handcuffs are rather simple and rough. They are single lock only. So we recommend them as a collector's item. If you are looking for handcuffs for real (professional) use, you will find more suitable restraints in our stock.
These handcuffs are the same as the model shown above, except for the surface. The finish is blued (black oxide) instead of nickel plated. Such dark restraints are preferred by special police forces (SWAT-teams) and military units.
This is an enhanced version of the CROT handcuffs shown above. They are also quite crude in design but the can be securely double locked by push buttons on the sides, which can be activated by the finger tip. To unlock the double lock of these nickel-plated cuffs, you have to use the key.
These handcuffs are the same as the model shown above, except for the surface. The finish is bare steel instead of nickel plated. The steel is not stainless, so the cuffs should be kept at a dry place and oiled from time to time (e.g. with WD-40). |
